Have I mentioned that I love my Psychology professor?
Well, in case I haven't, and I'm pretty sure I haven't, I love him. He just saved his entire psych class, which includes me, from failing miserably.
So, the way I understand it is this: we all did so badly that he didn't know what else to do. Let's put it this way, I think I'm a reasonably smart person, and I figured out that my score would have been a 69 had he not done something... There were 65 questions, and I got 20 wrong.
What he did was this: we originally had 65 questions. He decided to make the test out of 50 instead of 65, but it wasn't a specific 50, it was just the number of questions you got right. Then, he threw out nine of his questions because so few people answered it correctly, making it really out of 41.
In the end, anyone who got more than 41 right received extra credit. So, on my test that would have been a 69, a D, I now have a 104.
Go figure... :) I'm okay with that.
